Here is a short clip from last years Prague training seminar. We worked among other things with 4 Directions Push Hands. Adding applications in that context is one way to train timing, angles, positioning. Of course it is not self defence initself, but a way to train skills that might be useful in self defence as well as a way to understand how the various parts in the Tai Chi Chuan curriculum is interconnected and should be linked.
